Application Process

Consider joining the ROWC!  We welcome members of all ages, races, genders, religions and ethnicities.  You do not need to be a resident of Royal Oak.

We would love to get to know you and invite you to attend one of our meetings or events to see if ROWC is right for you!  Our monthly membership meetings  are generally held on the first Tuesday evening of the month in the spring and fall, and on the first Saturday morning of the month in winter.

ROWC also accepts transfers of membership from any other club affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

For more information on membership or to attend an upcoming meeting, please contact us at rowcmembership@gmail.com.

General Federation of Women's Clubs

The General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations, was founded in 1890 and chartered by the 56th United States Congress in 1901. Headquartered in a National Historic Landmark building in Washington, DC, GFWC has a long history of philanthropy, social and political advocacy, and community leadership.

More than 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and more than a dozen countries work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding.
